PROJECT

DARE TO HOPE follows fine-art wildlife photographer and animal lover Harry Skeggs as he travels to the icy continent and surrounding regions to document the wildlife there in its natural habitat. As he reveals insights into his creative process, we discover how his ‘animals first’ ethos informs his work and witness the impact of climate change on the front line of conservation.

PROJECT
FilmDuo partnered with Clarendon Fine Art to launch DARE TO HOPE in style with two consecutive screening nights at the prestigious Mayfair Hotel cinema. This was followed by a preview of Harry’s latest work in a Clarendon gallery on Dover Street. The exhibition was titled BEYOND and included all of the main shots taken in Antarctica as well as a subsequent project featuring Alaskan Bears. As principal sponsors of DARE TO HOPE Nikon commissioned two behind the scenes films to showcase the Z 9 cameras that both Harry Skeggs and Sam Hockley, the documentary’s director, used on location.

PROJECT

To coincide with when he joined Clarendon Fine Art Harry Skeggs commissioned FilmDuo to make a short promotional film about his work. For this we focused on the story of an expedition to Amboseli National Park in Kenya where Harry captured a special image of an extremely rare tusker elephant called Ulysses.
